Our own talk show fiend Lachlan scours the masses of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Conan and now The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and brings us the second list of the top 5 standout music performances from US late night talk shows of last week!

Single of the Day: A$AP Rocky Feat. ScHoolboy Q "Electric Body" (2015)

East Coast rap giant A$AP Rocky is almost ready to unleash his sophomore album, At.Long.Last.A$AP, and has already pushed several tracks out to the world. We've already heard impressive sounds like "L$D" and "Beef" but this one just about takes the cake. "Electric Body" with the equally unstoppable ScHoolboy Q is an exciting display from both artists as they ride over a constantly evolving production. DJ Envy pops up every now and again to remind us that this is a leak.

Stories of rap group fights and whether or not Drake was set to bring some god-like level from the 6 through to Austin dominated the line that wrapped around the block for A$AP Rocky at the Samsung Milk Music Lounge. Part of a series hosted by the company for SXSW 2015, the rapper followed on from Iggy Azalea the night previous, while Hot Chip is set to wrap it all up tomorrow evening.

New Music Video: A$AP Rocky "Multiply" (2014)

While teasing the beginning of A$AP Rocky's follow-up to his well-received major label debut, fans didn't expect that our first taste of the project would come so soon. Today Rocky drops the single and accompanying video for "Multiply", the track reported to be the first single from his next album. The song is in-line with the fashionable production and addictive, elastic flow which has made A$AP Rocky one of the fastest ascensions to hip-hop -and pop culture - prominence in history. The beat goes through multiple changes throughout the track, staying consistent with his seamless blend of Houston and New York style.

Single Stream: Lykke Li Feat. ASAP Rocky "No Rest for the Wicked" (2014)

The unlikely duo of Swedish singer Lykke Li with Harlem emcee A$AP Rocky makes for one of the sweetest pairings 2014 has heard so far. The powerful, commanding voice of Lykke Li gives way to Rocky's swagger while both blend with the piano-driven beat so perfectly. While the original track hails from Li's upcoming I Never Learn LP - which us slated for a May 6 release in the U.S - we're kind of hoping this excellent remix makes the cut.

Festival Review: Field Day - The Domain, Sydney (01.01.14)

With a big night before in check, Field Day offered enough dance music to keep the celebrators happy while offering a few more chilled out options for those still recovering from New Year’s Eve. Its size, slightly smaller than a regular festival, meant that it was easier to get around and criss-cross genres throughout the day.
