Archie Roach and Tina Arena headline first speaker announcement for BIGSOUND 2017

The BIGSOUND programming announcements have kicked off for yet another year, with some Aussie legends being announced as keynote speakers for the September music conference. Leading the announcement today, Archie Roach and Tina Arena will both be appearing in Brisbane for BIGSOUND – the two Australian music icons set to open up about their acclaimed and extensive careers.

Says BIGSOUND’s Maggie Collins of their welcome to the fold, “It is my honour to welcome our esteemed first keynote speakers to the lineup this year, Tina Arena and Archie Roach – two Australian icons who have contributed so much to our cultural identity over the past few decades.”

Along with this announcement, BIGSOUND has revealed that Mary Ramos – music supervisor to Quentin Tarantino – will also be speaking in September as well as the following names.
