Live Review: Groovin The Moo – Bendigo (04.05.13)

If you live in Victoria, you would know that Bendigo and Ballarat are typically your country town rivals. Aside from Geelong, these two regional cities are the next best thing after Melbourne. Now without sounding biased, my good old hometown of Ballarat has a lot going for it. Home of the Gold Rush, the iconic Lake Wendouree, chips cheese and gravy...we are doing alright down here! But there’s just one thing that Bendigo has that we don’t, one thing that dare I say, really puts it ahead of the old ‘rat a tat – Groovin the Moo.

Andrew WK Announces "One-Man Party Tour" for May

If you were able to catch him on the Big Day Out tour in 2011, you'll know what Andrew WK is capable of getting up to live. Announced on this year's Groovin' the Moo line up, WK has announced some more headlining shows where people can get amongst the fun with him once again. The multi-talented performer is bringing his 'party hard' back to Australia and by all reports, this tour isn't to be missed.

Finding it a handy way to catch the vast majority of bands who took over Sydney Olympic Park for Big Day Out in 2010, I once again decided to venture out to the festival grounds for the two consecutive days of the 2011 event.
