Amy Schumer and Bill Hader coming to Australia to premiere their new Judd Apatow comedy Trainwreck

One of the hottest names in comedy right now, Amy Schumer (Inside Amy Schumer), is set to come to Australia introduce her first feature film, Trainwreck, alongside co-star and fellow comedian Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live). The film, which has so far been received positively at screenings – including at SXSW in Austin, Texas – is Produced and Directed by Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40 Year Old Virgin).

In Trainwreck, Amy stars as “a bold and unapologetic woman navigating the dating world in the 21st century, who… finds herself falling for the subject of a new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor (played by Bill Hader)”.

Amy and Bill will visit Sydney July 20-21 and Melbourne July 21-22 and fans will have the opportunity to see the duo at the Australian Premiere on Monday 20th July in Sydney.

Trainwreck is released in Australian cinemas on 6th August 2015 through Universal Pictures.
