Adelaide heated up as a slew of local and international artists swept through the city for the Summadayze Festival on New Year's Eve 2012. Mark Davies was there for the AU and brings you the following party snaps!

Want to start your 2013 off with a bang? Sydney is going to be holding one hell of a party when Field Day hosts some epic artists on New Year's Day! With more acts to be announced the Field Day line up looks set to bring some of the best in indie, dance and pop music to The Domain in 2013.

Summadayze has been rcognised as one of the country's best NYE festivals and it isn't hard to see why. Year after year, the festival has brought some of the best international acts to Australia and has provided the opportunity for some brilliant local talent to do their thing on stages across the country, to some of the biggest festival crowds Australia has been known to produce.

Some great releases this week including Lawrence Arabia, John Butler, Lisa Mitchell, The Beach Boys, Josh Ritter and a re-release from Lenny Kravitz. Some excellent homegrown releases as well in there!

Anticipation is rising as fans await the remaining dates one of the country's biggest festivals, Parklife. With a reputation for being a launching board for some of the most talented and experienced artists, it's no surprise to see Sweden's Adrian Lux headlining this year's festival.
