When he’s not busy touring with Bob Evans, writing with Eskimo Joe or doing both of these things with Basement Birds, Steve Parkin also finds the time to make his own music. And despite being an accomplished writer when it comes to these original works, on Reverbnation he has also made a cover song available.

It is Nada Surf’s “Blonde On Blonde” and is about – you guessed it – the famous Bob Dylan album. Suffice it to say that when Parkin plays his acoustic guitar with parts that are equally haunting, lilting and melodic it all feels rather Dylan-esque and indeed combines to make a rather sublime little folk gem.
