Last night a DJ saved my life. Well not quite, but if they were the Purple Sneakers DJs then they spared me from having a bad soundtrack to my days. This clever lot have put together a second volume to the We Mix, You Dance series and it’s yet another hand-picked bunch of the cream of the crop, with indie wonders mixed with the finest dance numbers. Over a staggering 45 tracks there is a little something for everyone whether you like your homegrown talent (Cloud Control, Tame Impala, Jinja Safari and Art vs. Science) or your international favourites like: LCD Soundsystem, Mumford & Sons, Deerhunter and Vampire Weekend, to name a few.

Musically, you get your indie served red-hot with heavy guitar licks and hand-clappingly, good-fun synth. The latter comes packaged in the wild sea adventure and intergalactic planetary varieties and just about any kind of cool sound in between. In short, they mix, we dance and it will definitely save your life
(from drudgery).
