Hungry Kids of Hungary - Let You Down (2009 EP)

Track 1 – Let You Down (3.16 mins)

With a relatively short intro, Sam Whiting kicks it off with a great bass line. The lyrics are simple yet sweet, with the song carrying a real 60’s feel to it, incorporating the tambourine and a little bit of flute.

It’s an upbeat love song with the first two verses and chorus’ being the light, followed by a bit of shade in the bridge. Ryan Potter’s vocals are raw and smooth - you could even say a little sexy. It’s a light, upbeat song, with easy to sing along to lyrics – another great hit for The Kids I think.

Track 2 – Study Hall (3.03 mins)

Starting off with a simple guitar intro, this song has a real Beatles feel to it. Great vocals – smooth and pure with basic lyrics talking about reclaiming the summer days from way back when. There is a very present piano and an overall upbeat, easy-listening groove. Great to sing along to and really makes you want to dance.
