Having spent a good portion of this year perfecting their live sound, you can now take Danimals home, with the release of the Double A-side wetting our lips for the upcoming album. Hornets has been getting a fair amount of airplay on the community radio stations and is the fitting first track of the double A-side. Although short, it takes you on a quick intergalactic tour. It will put a spring in your step, and by the time that two minutes and forty three seconds rolls by, you will definitely be pressing the back button to hear it again. There are so many little melodies in this song - each equally as catchy as the other - from the simple yet effective verse vocals, to the bass synths, which all have the ability to stick in your head for days.

The other A-side is Christmas Worms Quest for Fresh Apple, which continues on that intergalactic journey. Once again jam packed with more catchy melodies and solid beats, you cannot help but bounce your head to the beat. Danimals music is dense full of intricate melodies that leave you addicted, desperate for more. Before you know it the song is over and we are left with a wallowing sound of electronic gear signing out. 

Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do but eagerly await the debut album due for release in 2010.
