Travel News: Australian opens Ocean Soul Retreat Wellness Resort in Bali

Ambitious Australian Georgie White plans to launch her very own oasis for women in Bali with a wellness retreat she has deemed the Ocean Soul Retreat. Bali isn't lacking for hidden pockets of beauty, but this one also comes with the psychology behind it. Ambiance is key here, and White has planned this slice of luxury to be a platform for women to relax, find inner balance, and learn new skills.

Launching in April this year, the retreat focuses on the four key areas of wellness, nutrition, yoga and surf, to give women a transformative and fulfilling experience.

Unlike many other similar Bali retreats, the central philosophy here will be concentrated on holistic healing. This means that guests will have access to acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, traditional Balinese healing, Reiki, and spa treatments.

George will be drawing upon her knowledge and expertise to develop and implement carefully designed packages to give women the tools to refresh and reconnect. After all, it's all about using the holiday to heal and re-focus, a perfect environment for any overworked women.

Guests can choose from the Surf and Yoga Package, Yogini’s Package or Soul Surf Package. Each package includes seven nights’ accommodation at the beautiful Ocean Soul Retreat villa in Seminyak with highly experienced retreat leaders on hand 24 hours a day.

Melbourne-based naturopath and holistic nutritionist Meg Thomson has developed a menu filled with nutrient-packed meals designed to help cleanse the system.

Each retreat runs from Saturday to Friday and accommodates at maximum of 10 women.

Ocean Soul Retreat gives 5% of its profits to the local R.O.L.E. Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to breaking the poverty cycle, improving the education and wellbeing of underprivileged women living in Indonesia and Bali.
